Overview
Duraludon VMAX Single Strike is very tough Pokemon because it has both high HP [330 HP] and no weakness. It will be very difficult for your opponent to OHKO it. But, it has high retreat cost with 3 Energy so you probably need Switch if you want it to swap with another Pokemon.
It also has very useful Ability, Skyscraper which prevent any damage done to this Pokemon by attacks from your opponent's Pokemon that has a Special Energy attached to it. Decks that rely on Special Energy such as Blaziken VMAX Rapid Strike and Urshifu VMAX Rapid Strike will have very low chance to win against Draludon VMAX Single Strike Deck.
Similar to most of the Dragon Pokemon, its attack, G=Max Pulverization requires 2 different types of Energy [1 Fighting Energy and 2 Metal Energy]. This attack has 220 Damage and is not affected by any effect on your opponent's Active Pokemon such as damage reduction etc. So, you need at least 2 turns to knock out your opponent's VMAX Pokemon with G-Max Pulversiation.
In contrast, its pre-evolution, Duraludon V SIngle Strike doesn't have any powerful attack since its max damage is limited to 140 damage. So, it is better to focus on evolving Drauldon VMAX.
Energy Setup
Because Duraludon VMAX Single Strike attack require more Metal Energy, accelerating Metal Energy is better option instead of Fighting Energy. Both Zacian V and Bronzong will be used to attached 2 Metal Energy to Duraludon VMAX Single Strike.
Zacian V Ability Intrepid Sword will allows you to attached Metal Energy to it if you managed to draw using its Ability. Then, you can use Brozong Ability Metal Transfer to transfer Metal Energy from Zacian V to Duraludon VMAX Single Strike.
Alos, Metal Saucer can be used to attached Metal Energy to any of your Metal Pokemon on bench. Then, transfer those Metal Energy to Duraludon VMAX using Bronzong Ability.
Heal
Cheryl is a great card to play along with Bronzong. By using Cheryl, you will be to completely heal all damage from all your Duraludon VMAX Single Strike and discard all Energy from them. But, you use Brozong Ability Metal Trasnfer to transfer Metal Energy cards from Duraludon VMAX to other Pokemon, you will be able to heal using Cheryl without discarding any Energy. After that, you can use Bronzong Ability again to transfer Metal Energy back to your Duraludon VMAX Single Strike.
Crystal Cave can also be used to heal 30 Damage from each of your Duraludon VMAX Single Strike.
Additional Attacker
Since there will be Fighting Energy in your deck, it is also good to add Galarian Zapdos V in your deck. Galarian Zapdos V is good to counter against deck that utilizes many bench Pokemon V such as Eternatus VMAX deck. As its Ability Fighting Instincts reduce its attack cost 1 Colorless Energ less for each of your opponent's Pokemon in play.
